Hip to Be Square: Student Innovation

The human brain is a wonderful thing. It’s been very helpful over the years, helping us to survive and, now, run the entire planet. It must be well-fed to perform, though. Think about long breaks from school; did you ever feel like you were getting dumber? Continuing your education, whether it be online or on-campus can help you stay creative and lead to a rewarding career

Innovation
Creativity doesn’t start after you finish your degree. Students come up with some of the best ideas around while attending school. Is it any wonder? That perfect mix of caffeine, all-nighters, education, and social interaction that comes with most collegiate experiences has led to great ideas and profitable careers. These flashes of million-dollar genius aren’t reserved for bookworms; even otherwise unruly, poor students make their way to the big leagues more often than you might think.

Creative Fodder
When you keep learning new things, your brain has more to work with. Think of inspiration. New experiences inspire us, and the point of schooling is learning new things. With all of the new connections your brain is making while learning, you’re bound to–at the very least–see things a bit differently than before. A fresh perspective could give you world-changing idea.

Creative Despite the Classroom
There’s a nasty idea running around that classrooms kill creativity. Education has come a long way from rote regurgitation. New programs are helping students prepare for the real world, not just the library. There are so many options for going back to school that, no matter your situation, you don’t have to let your brain stagnate. It’s a great, big world out there; go learn about it.
