Online education just got more accessible. Walden University now offers MobileLearnSM, a program created to help students learn through a range of learning formats. With MobileLearnSM, you can access field simulations, course videos, and assigned texts and lectures through smartphones, MP3 players, and other personal mobile devices.
Walden University Offers New Content Delivery Options
MobileLearnSM was designed by Walden University to complement the lifestyles of active, working adults who look for more flexibility in their education. The program offers a variety of innovative content-delivery options:
- Offline: Download classroom content to your computer and use the files offline, with no Internet access required.
- Online: Log in to the online classroom to access videos, audio, transcripts, and other course content.
- On-the-go: Access podcasts and other course content with your smartphone or MP3 player and learn at your convenience, within specified timeframes.
With MobileLearnSM, online education becomes even more accessible and adaptable to your lifestyle.
"Walden University is always looking for ways to use technology to make it easier to access and successfully complete our degree programs," says Walden University President Jonathan Kaplan.
MobileLearnSM Improves Access and Flexibility
Walden University has adopted the MobileLearnSM technology in an effort to continue improving access and flexibility for today's students.
"We realize that each student has his or her own learning style," says Kaplan. "MobileLearnSM allows students to interact with content in a way that fits their individual learning preferences and lifestyles."
During a trial of the MobileLearnSM program, an overwhelming majority of Walden University students reported that they would be more likely to complete a course using MobileLearnSM. The students also reported having a deeper understanding of the content covered with MobileLearnSM.
