How does distance learning work?

Throughout your program, you'll have flexibility to study when and where it's convenient for you. Walden’s world-class Writing Center, tutoring, fully digital library, and other student services provide you with essential resources. You'll also exchange ideas and collaborate with your colleagues through an online learning environment and, in some programs, face-to-face residencies. Additionally, some programs allow you to create a unique plan tailored to your professional interests.

Will I be able to take courses that relate to my job?

How quickly can I complete a degree program?

The time to completion of any program varies depending on the number of credits transferred and on each individual’s progress. Bachelor's programs can typically be completed in as little as 18 months. Master's degree programs can be completed in approximately 24 months. Most Ph.D. students earn their degree in 5 years or less. The Ed.D. program can take 3 years to complete.

Is financial aid available to those who qualify?
