Undergraduates can also minor in a number of areas, some of which are only available as minors, including theater, gender studies, and creative writing.

There is also the option to spend a semester or a year in one of eight foreign countries where Utica College has arranged programs, or eight other countries with programs linked to Syracuse University.

Graduate Programs

There are graduate programs leading to master's degrees in business and master's degrees in science. These include, among others, multiple economics programs and programs in many areas of health care.

Online Degree Programs

Utica College offers several online degree programs. A few of these degree programs are not usually taught in an academic setting, making Utica unique in its offerings. One such program is in cybersecurity, at the cutting edge of that subject. You can specialize in either cybercrime investigations and forensics, or information assurance.

A second program is called economic crime investigation. This involves areas of financial investigation. The program combines parts of criminal justice and accounting with forensic accounting and investigations. There is no other program like this offered in an academic setting.

Either of these programs could be called atypical. In a more familiar field, Utica College offers an online nursing program for registered nurses looking to advance their careers.

Utica College also offers online graduate degrees. There are programs that may expand on undergraduate education, including economic crime management and fraud management. There are even somewhat more traditional programs in professional accountancy, criminal justice administration, planning and leadership, healthcare administration, and occupational therapy. Utica College even offers an online program for licensed physical therapists who want a post-professional doctorate. This program does require one class taken on campus.

Finally, there are certificate programs in financial crime investigations and gerontology. The financial crime investigator coursework can later be applied towards a bachelor's degree in economic crime investigation.  The certificate in gerontology can be focused on public policy, service delivery, or community design as each are related to gerontology.
