What all this means for adult professionals
Continuing education is no longer hindered by time, distance, and location. Rather, busy working professionals can continue their education with unparalleled access and convenience. Lectures, discussions, seminars, research, and registration, can all take place from the comfort of home or work... even if the student lives miles away from the closest physical campus.
It Means Experience

It Means Top-Notch Instruction
As the nation's oldest land-grant institution, the University of Delaware offers an unparalleled collection of educational resources to its students. In addition, it proudly boasts internationally known scientists, authors, and scholars, many of whom offer distance learning lectures every semester through online and other media.
In addition, the UD Online/Distance Learning office is always eager to assist students and provide whatever services and support are necessary.
What Is the Distance Learning Delivery System?
To help busy students meet their educational needs, the University of Delaware provides coursework in a variety of accessible media, including web-based, videotape, and print-based materials. Students have the option of using these technology-based formats, traditional campus classes, or both.
Regardless of which format they choose, students may take exams at participating worksites and community colleges while forwarding other assignments directly to the UD program. Alternatively, students may register directly and take their exams on the campus.
