Founded in 1975, Technical Career Institute offers career-oriented degree and diploma programs in a modern, spacious facility. You can choose from numerous specializations in accounting, business, computer technology, or medical/dental technology fields.

Technical Career Institute pledges to provide you, as a student, with high standards, a business-oriented atmosphere, small classes for individualized attention, and guidance toward a job in your chosen field. The diploma and degree programs combine theoretical knowledge and practical, hands-on training whenever applicable.

The college maintains memberships in several professional organizations, such as the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges (FAPSC), the National Association of Health Professionals (NAHP), and the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA.)

Degree Programs at Technical Career Institute

Most of the associate's degree programs require four semesters to complete, while the majority of the diploma programs require just two semesters. The pharmacology technician diploma program requires three semesters for completion. These programs prepare you for entry-level positions in growing career fields.

The diploma and associate's degree programs also prepare you for licensure in your field if required. For example, the Massage Therapy program prepares you to take the National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCETMB.)

Many of the diploma and degree programs offered by Technical Career Institute are not widely found at career colleges and can prepare you for careers that you might not have considered before. The diverse program offerings include:

In order to be admitted to the Technical Career Institute, you must show proof of a high school diploma or equivalency. International students must produce transcripts. When you decide to apply, you can meet with an admission representative to tour the campus and discuss your goals and interests.
