Educated in California, he has owned several of his own businesses and currently owns/operates Studio X Arts & Science, a concept and design specialty shop. A Well-Rounded Athlete He has over 28 years of mountaineering experience. He has been a sport climbing instructor and competed at the National level. Also an avid cyclist, Wave bicycled solo across America in the fall of 2000, nearly 2,700 miles. He has also bike toured in Europe and Asia. Wave has extensive first aid, survival training, was a member of the Mendocino County Sheriffs Search and Rescue team, and of course was a Boy Scout, nearly becoming Eagle Scout. Wave has always been an athlete, earning the U.S. President's Physical Fitness award 3 times, was a Varsity pole-vaulter and high-jumper in high school, and enjoys adventure sports such as skydiving, hang gliding, sea kayaking, extreme snowboarding, and many others. No stranger to solo activities, Wave has been known to captain his 65-foot sailing yacht solo around the San Francisco Bay Area and the coast of California. Training Wave is training 2-10 hours a day, depending upon his schedule. Training activities include bicycling across America, training trips to Canada and Alaska, weight training, climbing, mountaineering, and other activities. Professional Experience In the business world Wave has been a professional photographer, writer, author, laser physicist, designer, entrepreneur, held President, CEO, CFO, Director positions with a variety of companies and continues to expand his boundaries and capabilities. Inspirations His inspirations are other renaissance men, such as Leonardo DaVinci, Benjamin Franklin, Gallieo, and Newton. He also draws inspiration from people like Anthony Robbins, Borge Ousland, and other polar explorers.
