Joining a club is an excellent way to expand on courses you may already be taking, or even to expand your skills and knowledge before taking a course. Clubs exist for just about everything. Want to expand your photography skills? Call a local photo studio and ask if they can recommend a local club. Want to become a better gardener? There are loads of local clubs dedicated to roses, banzai, orchids, and herbs. Want to become a mechanic? Lots of car/motorcycle clubs could help you learn. And with the Internet, it's easier than ever to find clubs in your area. Sites like Yahoo! and AOL can help you find clubs where you will become much more than a member - you'll become a "learner!" Try a sports or fitness club
