Minnesota School of Cosmetology: A History of Excellence

Currently part of the Globe Education Network, the Minnesota School of Cosmetology was born out of the Minnesota Cosmetology Education Center. Established in 1950, the center was known for its quality cosmetology instruction. In 1988, new owners expanded the school curriculum to position it to meet the needs of the rapidly growing salon industry in the 1990s. The expanded cosmetology program included courses in sales training, communication, fashion, and technical ability.

Renamed the Minnesota School of Cosmetology in 2003, this specialty college has continued its long tradition of preparing cosmetologists for the challenges and innovations of the future.

The Minnesota School of Cosmetology is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences and is a licensed institution by the Minnesota Board of Cosmetologist Examiners.
