Medix

Medix is a family of four schools--Medix College, Medix School, Medix School-West and Medix School-South--that offers certificate, diploma, and degree programs in a wide variety of technology and healthcare professions at various campus locations. Medix schools are focused on providing graduates with opportunities for accelerated professional advancement by offering degrees in growing career fields. The degree and diploma programs at Medix are designed to equip you with the academic skills and hands-on training you need to successfully enter the job market when you graduate.

The Medix Experience

The degree programs at Medix campuses are held in classrooms in modern facilities that feature industry-standard lab tools, educational materials, and software--all of which is regularly updated as technologies advance or training needs change.  Passionate, experienced instructors share their industry expertise with you through a combination of academic challenges and hands-on training.  At Medix, the overriding short-term goal is to prepare you to quickly and successfully assimilate into entry-level career positions that offer the potential to develop into long-term, sustainable professions. Medix strives to help each student identify their goals and determine the appropriate career path. Helping each student understand their natural gifts and talents is the first step in helping students determine if Medix is the best educational fit for them.  For this reason, Medix requires new students to participate in a customized educational and career planning meeting with an admissions officer.  These meetings provide students an opportunity to ask questions about the school, the degree programs, and potential careers in an open and supportive environment. This time also allows the administrative staff an opportunity to review each student's academic and career history and evaluate their character traits to determine if the student is a good match with Medix.

Students attending one of the Medix schools can benefit from the financial aid counselors who are dedicated to developing a solid understanding of each student's personal needs while maintaining student confidentiality.  This is the result of the college's belief that a lack of personal resources should not prevent you from attending school, receiving career training, or achieving your professional aspirations. The dedicated financial assistance team can provide students with access to information on student loan and scholarship programs and formulate a complete financial plan for each student.

Medix students may qualify for a number of options that can help cover their education expenses. Financial aid can come from grants and low-interest loans for those who qualify.

With a commitment to support the professional growth of recent graduates and established alumni, Medix School's career services department diligently works to identify emerging job opportunities that may assist its graduates in starting their careers.

Students and new graduates can also take advantage of Medix' career planning programs that focus on improving interview techniques as well as improving resume writing and business correspondence. The college's comprehensive career services division serves the whole student by offering skills assessment testing and guidance, advice on presenting oneself professionally, and important guidelines that encourage graduates to dress for success. Additionally, students are introduced to the concepts associated with successful job search tips and techniques.
