• Advanced Physician Assistant
  The emerging and increasing utilization of PA's in the Medical Examiner's office requires a strong foundation in both investigations of death and clinical forensic skills. The Forensic Medicine Concentration formalizes and presents the necessary knowledge base and required skills needed to work in a Medical Examiner's office. Upon completion of this program the PA will be able to demonstrate expertise and competence in medico-legal investigations including obtaining evidence in field, scene investigation, timing of death and medical photography.

Auburn University
Auburn University's College of Business offers a distance learning Executive MBA Program tailored for physicians. This 21-month program is comprised of six courses in a residency format and six courses offered through distance learning. Eight courses provide the basic MBA core and the four electives all have a specific physician focus in approaching business fundamentals from a healthcare industry perspective. The four electives plus two courses in the basic MBA core will be taught in residency periods (five on campus and one in Washington DC). The other six MBA courses will be distance learning courses with video- and web-based instruction. Accredited by the Association to Advance of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

University of South Florida
The University of South Florida MBA Program for Physicians has been restructured to incorporate an increased distance learning delivery system. The initial phase of this restructure involves a Certification of the Business of Medicine, which is the prerequisite for physicians entering the USF MBA Program for Physicians. Following completion of the Certification of Business Medicine Program, physicians will attend one week of class in Tampa, followed by six four-day weekends over about eighteen months. Accredited by the AACSB - the International Association of Management Education and by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

The University of Tennessee
The University of Tennessee College of Business Administration offers an online Physician Executive MBA program. The program is requires only four one-week on-site residence periods during the 12 month program. All other course hours are available at your computer desktop via the Internet. Classes start in early January. Graduation is in December of each year. Accredited by the AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
