The Heald College Experience

At Heald College, earning a degree is only part of the educational equation. The college's degree programs take your commitments outside of school into consideration when designing degree programs. By offering day, evening, and part-time programs, Heald College aims to accommodate student's diverse schedules. Small class sizes and personalized advising ensure that you are getting the maximum benefit out of your education.

Programs are designed so that you can improve your career credentials and move into the work force quickly. In 24 months or less, you can receive a comprehensive education--one that maximizes your individual gifts and talents while also providing solid job skills. Certificate programs can be completed in as few as six months.

While mastery of technical skills is important, Heald College recognizes the importance of "soft skills" that are valued in today's business setting.  For this reason, students are prepared to be well-rounded leaders, effective collaborators, and efficient communicators. Although programs at many career colleges are limited to industry and program-specific courses, Heald College students can opt to pursue extracurricular academic studies such as ethics, literature, and personal and social responsibility.

Heald College faculty and staff are experienced career professionals who bring both pragmatic career expertise and academic excellence to the classroom. Their real-world experience and industry passion provide a relevant perspective through which they teach. As part of the comprehensive educational experience, Heald College campuses follow professional dress code guidelines.  Dressing for success and learning to interact with others in a professionalized environment is just one more way that Heald College prepares students for their new careers.
