Globe University
Originally two separate schools, Globe University and the Minnesota School of Business merged in 1988. They are now operated as one university with a single goal: "to provide education that enables graduates to reach their career and life goals and become empowered, knowledgeable citizens."
With more than 130 years of combined experience, Globe University offers specialized career education programs in business, information technology, legal science, medical education, and multimedia/design.
Globe University Online and Campus Degree Programs
With a number of campus locations, Globe University offers a variety of schedules--full time, part time, daytime, evening, online, and on campus-- to meet the needs of every student. It awards diplomas as well as associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees in fields ranging from criminal justice to multimedia game and application development to veterinary technology.
All courses, whether on campus or online, focus on helping you acquire the skills, knowledge, and credentials that are most sought after by employers. For example, the degree programs have all been designed with the help of an advisory board composed of industry leaders, area professionals, faculty, and students. To reinforce links between specific skills and your degree programs, the information technology programs may offer college credit for your previous work experience or certifications you have earned.
Globe University Online
In 2000, Globe University launched a full array of online degree programs to provide students with a range of resources designed specifically to help them achieve their goals in business, heath science, information technology, and legal science.
In recognition of the many challenges posed by distance learning, Globe University leverages the latest technology to support student endeavors. This includes:

- Blackboard enabled virtual classrooms
- Class-specific discussion boards
- Vast online library
Through partnerships with a number of other schools, Globe University allows online students to transfer credits as well as receive access to a wide array of course selections and technical support resources.
As part of its online degree programs, Globe University offers online graduate curriculums specifically designed for working professionals in business administration, health care management, information technology, and management. Each of these programs emphasizes leadership principles in the work environment.

Globe University's financial aid representatives are extremely knowledgeable about the variety of financial aid programs--including federal grants, loans and scholarships--available for students today. They meet with students individually to help guide them through the process of creating an affordable financial plan that makes their educational and career goals possible. They are experts in the special educational benefits available for military personnel, veterans and American Indian tribal members. They also help high school students apply for grants, loans, and scholarships.
