Originally founded as Florida Programming and Educational Center, Inc. in 1982, Florida Career College has continually expanded its programs and course offerings to match student skills and employer requirements. It provides an education that is focused on developing relevant, marketable job skills.  

Each of Florida Career College's campuses is well staffed with a knowledgeable and highly qualified faculty comprised of professionals in the fields they teach.

While Florida Career College does not have college-sponsored dormitories, its campuses are conveniently located near major metropolitan areas. Florida Career College offers a variety of certificate, diploma, and degree programs in two broad areas: allied health and business and technology. Every program is carefully designed to ensure that each student is well prepared with relevant, industry-specific knowledge and expertise.

Each of the certificate and degree programs in the school of allied health offers a curriculum that is continually updated to prepare students with the skills, principles, and hands-on training needed to embark on successful careers throughout the growing healthcare industry. Florida Career College Business and Technology Programs

The degree programs in accounting, business administration and management, and information systems are continuously updated to ensure that graduates are well prepared to advance in their chosen professions.  These programs encourage students to explore in-depth concepts and to develop their skills in critical thinking, leadership, problem-solving, professional communication, international business issues, and teamwork.

Florida Career College' diploma and degree programs in technology help prepare students for careers in the fast-paced and dynamic information technology environment. After mastering the fundamentals of computers, application software, and computer repair, students learn to troubleshoot networks, design and implement upgrades, and manage network computing and systems integration.  

Career Services

Florida Career College's Career Center provides one-on-one advice to individual students to help them find employment in their chosen fields of study. It also establishes and builds ongoing professional relationships among a growing network of potential employers. Indeed, the rapid expansion of Florida Career College's network of successful graduates enables it to provide very effective job-placement assistance services through referrals and recommendations. The Career Center also provides workshops and tutoring on resume writing and interviewing skills.
