Federico Beauty Institute Certificate Program in Cosmetology
The Federico Beauty Institute's cosmetology program teaches students to create the most flattering hair style for each individual client. You learn to use all the tools of the trade, including a variety of shampoos, conditioners, perms, relaxers, and colors. Instructors provide a thorough education on organizational skills, communication skills, and how to perform as team players.
Students have the option of either a full-time or a part-time schedule. The full-time day program consists of 30 hours of instruction each week for 53.5 weeks. The part-time evening program consists of 20 hours of instruction each week for 80 weeks.
Federico Beauty Institute Esthetics Program
The Federico Beauty Institute's esthetics program teaches students to perform facials, waxing, and other spa body treatments. However, the program goes far beyond the basics of skin care and maintenance in its classes. Federico Beauty Institute students learn to recognize abnormalities in the skin and to recommend effective treatments to correct them.
The esthetics program provides both day and evening programs. The full-time day program consists of 30 hours of instruction each week for 20 weeks. The part-time evening program in esthetics consists of 20 hours of instruction each week for 30 weeks. The Federico Beauty Institute's esthetics program offers certificates in aesthetician, esthetician, and skin care specialist.
Financial Aid
The Federico Beauty Institute is a private, for-profit, less-than-two-year institution. It has a participation agreement with the U.S. Department of Education for eligible students to receive Pell Grants and other federal aid.
