E-Learning FAQ

  1. Are your online degrees accredited?
World Wide Learn only lists degree programs that hold proper accreditation and licensing. Degree programs that are listed in our directory are regionally accredited (ie. US universities and colleges); or are licensed/approved by government regulatory authorities (ie. Canadian, Australian, and international universities). A few exceptions are vocational training offerings which are accredited by DETC.

  2. Can you send me a catalog?
World Wide Learn does not publish a catalog. World Wide Learn is a directory and lists hundreds of degree and training programs and courses. If you would like to receive a catalog from a particular university or learning provider, you will have to request one from that learning provider.

  3. How much do your online courses cost?
Because we list hundreds of course and program offerings from outside providers, World Wide Learn does not normally publish pricing. You will have to click through to the site that you are interested in to find out pricing, registration details and any other information you are looking for.

  4. Could you tell me if there is any recognition for completing the online courses offered?
World Wide Learn lists a wide variety of online courses - from general interest learning, vocational training courses, to courses for college credit. A course that is offered for fun or for general interest may or may not offer a certificate of completion. A vocational training course will generally include a certificate of completion or an award of some kind. Continuing education courses will include the applicable credits. College courses will include credits. You will have to click through to the site that you are interested in to find out the exact award/credit info.

  5. Could you please mail me a catalog for the Fall semester. I am interested in the online degree courses and need info on fee's etc.
Because we are a web directory we don't publish a catalog. However, you can request a course catalog from the individual university or college that interests you.

  6. I am interested in being an online instructor. Do you have any vacancies?
World Wide Learn does not offer courses or programs directly, rather we are an online directory of education (think "Yahoo" but for online education only) and so we don't have a need for instructors.
