Florida State University
Florida State University offers practicing secondary school teachers the opportunity to earn one of two advanced degrees that focus on the teaching of mathematics in middle or high school completely online. The curriculum for the Masters in Education and Educational Specialist degrees also assists teachers in preparing for National Board Certification. Florida State University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Lesley University
Lesley University offers an online Master's Degree in Science in Education. Delivered entirely online, the Master's in Science in Education is designed for classroom teachers, curriculum specialists, and instructional resource persons responsible for K-8 science education. This program aligns with National Science Education Standards that call for inquiry-based learning and innovative teaching paradigms. University of Maryland
The University of Maryland offers a Master of Life Sciences degree program online designed for high school science teachers. The program provides in depth knowledge of current research areas in the biological, biochemical and biomedical sciences. Aside from the laboratory experiences, all courses will be offered exclusively through distance education as online courses. Concentrations in Biology and in Chemistry are also available. UT TeleCampus
The UT TeleCampus functions as a central support unit for distance education programs and online degrees from the University of Texas System's 15 institutions. The TeleCampus online programs include:

• Chess in Education Certificate
  Studies in K-12 classrooms have shown a correlation between chess instruction and an increase in reading and other cognitive skills.
