MBA in Technology

By Melody Gough

Question

I would like to receive information regarding an MBA in technology.

Answer

If you are currently employed, start by asking if your employer offers any sort of tuition reimbursement for continuing your studies. Some employers see achievement of a higher degree as an asset to the company. The more you know means the more you can contribute to the success of the business. If it's a job that you like, and there is a chance to move up, make sure you meet with someone from your human resources office and discuss options. An employer may offer tuition reimbursement, but only after you've successfully completed the courses each semester.

Technology is one word that can serve as an umbrella for numerous areas of specialization. Think about where you might want to focus your studies and see what various degree programs your school of choice offers. Don't rule out an online program. You can learn when it's right for your schedule. MBA programs in technology are offered online so start your research so you should soon be one step closer to your degree.
