DMAC
Digital Media Arts College offers accelerated Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degrees to creative, motivated design students. Adhering to rigorous academic and artistic standards, DMAC degree programs combine timeless artistic practices with the latest technologies, in a curriculum that parallels industry trends worldwide. Bachelor's degree candidates may choose to major in computer animation or graphic design; master's degrees are offered in graphic design and special FX animation.
For an optimal accelerated learning environment, DMAC hires only faculty members who have attained the highest levels of academic achievement in their fields. These dedicated instructors, having applied their skills in industry and academia, help prepare students to develop their own artistic abilities and to channel their talents toward the pursuit of productive and successful careers. With small classes and a low student/teacher ratio, DMAC students enjoy close collaboration with experienced faculty mentors.
To enhance their creative output, DMAC students have total access to the latest industry technology. From the very first semester, exposure to cutting-edge products and methods is an integral part of study. DMAC provides the most up-to-date equipment, including Mac and PC/Xeon technology with digital flat panels and Apple Cinema displays. In addition, DMAC is home to one of the few Motion Capture Studios in the southeastern United States. Software is updated regularly to stay abreast of industry changes. DMAC's goal is to promote a dynamic, challenging environment and to foster understanding of the ways in which media, technology, and entertainment are connected.
DMAC is proud to provide students with a multi-cultural haven for creative expression by working with a diverse faculty and student body. DMAC is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, and has recently been approved by the U.S. Department of Education to offer Title IV Federal Financial Aid.
