  While earning your Doctor of Naturopathy Medicine (for medical doctors only) you will study the fundamentals of Naturotherapy. If you hold a master's degree, then you may enter the Doctor of Philosophy in Natural Health program after you successfully complete prerequisites in among others Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Nutrition and Introduction to Herbology.

  If your primary interest in using herbs is to improve your family's health, then the Family Herbalist program is for you. It also forms the basis for the Consulting Herbalist and Master Herbalist programs.
• Healthcare Professional Studies

Through video-based learning, Auburn University offers the following distance education nutrition degree:
