Online Aviation Degrees

• Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Management
  The Bachelor degree in Aviation Management focuses on the logistics side of aviation and blend academic classes in business, management, and aviation. This combination of courses prepares graduates for aviation careers and management positions at airports, airlines, aerospace companies, state, local, and federal government aviation agencies. Another track available within this management degree, is the Aircraft Dispatcher Certification. This optional course prepares students to take the FAA written and practical exam, become certified as a dispatcher, and be employed in the operations side of the commercial airlines.
  
  
• Bachelor's Degree in Professional Aviation
  The Bachelor degree in Professional Aviation concentrate on preparing students for pilot careers. This program, which combines flight training and academic classes, provides a solid foundation for graduates as they enter the work force as flight instructors, corporate and commercial pilots, or seek careers in the military, and other local, state, and federal government aviation agencies.*
  
  
• Master's Degree in Aviation Science
  The Master's of Aviation Science Degree will offer aviation professionals such as flight crew members, air traffic controllers, flight dispatchers, maintenance technicians, and airport and airline management personnel the opportunity to significantly enhance their knowledge of the aviation community and aerospace industry and help them to pursue exciting and more challenging careers.
  
  

• Master of Business Administration in Aviation (MBA/A)
  The MBA/A degree program is designed to emphasize the application of modern management concepts, methods, and tools to the challenges of aviation and general business. The special intricacies of aviation are woven into a strong, traditional business foundation and examined in greater detail through the wide variety of specified electives. The curriculum is oriented toward the needs of the strategic decision-maker in the management hierarchy. Versatility and analytical resourcefulness are two of the key aims of the MBA/A. While the curriculum is highly structured, part of it can be individually molded to satisfy personal interests.
• Master of Aeronautical Science
  This degree program is designed to provide the aviation professional with a rigorous academic approach to a generalist education oriented degree. It provides an unequaled opportunity for flight crew members, air traffic control personnel, flight operations specialists, aviation technical representatives, and aviation educators to enhance their knowledge and pursue additional career opportunities. There are seven specializations from which the student may choose: Aeronautics, Aviation/Aerospace Education Technology, Aviation/Aerospace Management, Aviation/Aerospace Operations, Aviation/Aerospace Safety Systems, Human Factors in Aviation Systems, and Space Studies.

• Associate of Science in General Aviation Flight Technology
  This 62-hour degree completion program provides an academically-oriented progression of instruction that trains the student in aviation fundamentals (primary training), instrument training, and commercial pilot certification.

• MBA in Executive Management with a Specialization in Global Aviation Management

• Bachelor of General Studies in Aviation
  The Aviation Institute offers core courses focusing on areas such as Administration, Safety, Professional Flight, General Aviation, and an emphasis on writing and research skills.
• Master of Public Administration - concentration in Aviation Administration
  This 39-credit hour degree program is taught by full-time faculty who are experts in their field. Courses will be entirely online, with the exception of a mandatory on-site orientation session for which students attend the campus in Omaha for a one or two-day intensive session the semester they begin the program.
