Student Services at The College of Westchester

The College of Westchester provides a great campus atmosphere for its students to enjoy.  The college sponsors many events and offers a number of extracurricular activities for students.  There is a student newspaper and a student government organization along with many clubs and organizations. Attending organizations that are geared towards your program of study can help further prepare you for life after college.

The College of Westchester prides itself on helping students set and achieve their career goals.  The student success program is a mentoring program that helps new students by paring them with a peer mentor as well as a staff member to assist. The academic advising program assigns you an advisor to help you create and revise your own career path.  The counseling center can assist you with basic social services needs.  The Learning Center offers tutoring in both private in group sessions by peers or professional tutors.

The College of Westchester also offers career services to graduates, including help finding employment and internships, maintaining relationships with area employers, and helping match students' goals and skills with employer needs. The career services office also hosts job fairs and recruitment events.
