WorldWideLearn.com has created CareerXE™ as a tool for you to research and compare careers and occupations all over the U.S. Drawing on data from the federal government and other authority resources, CareerXE™ provides detailed information on any recognized profession in every city, metropolitan area, and state in the U.S.
In addition to occupational data, CareerXE™ offers extensive demographic information for more than 10,000 distinct locations. Data categories include but are not limited to crime, weather, travel, birthplace, the economy, and even fun facts. Statistics in areas such as population and employment are broken down by age, gender, race, military status, and more.
Using CareerXE™
CareerXE™'s interactive maps and dropdown menus make navigation easy. Start by selecting a state, and then the metropolitan statistical area (MSA) or city of your choice. Once you've decided on a location, you'll see all 840 occupations of CareerXE™ organized using four distinct and increasingly granular tiers:
- Level 1: Area of Interest
- Level 2: Specialization
- Level 3: Occupation Group
- Level 4: Occupation
