| ARTICLE: Business Admin & Mgmt In-Depth |
Are you a business-savvy mind looking for a job in management? There are hundreds of positions in almost every industry that need strong administration coordination. Management allows you to facilitate support services in virtually any field from retail to government offices, and with experience and a degree, room for growth is optimum. To determine where your administration skills are best suited, consider what level of management is appealing and then look into the job requirements. In smaller businesses, for example, you may only need previous experience; however, those with both work history and a degree have a better chance of filling positions.
Educational Requirements
A curriculum in business administration may include classes in finance, management, marketing, and logistics. Of course the best jobs require training and certification along the way, but they also pay top dollar. While no educational program can guarantee a future salary or employment upon completion, obtaining a master's degree in business administration or a similar field may help you move into an executive management position quickly, with a salary potential of $66,700 on average. In addition to a business administration degree, you can increase your chances of advancement by receiving your Certified Administrative Manager (CAM) designation through experience and testing evaluations. When you find a campus-based business administration program, you'll also find plenty of internship opportunities that can help you begin your career in management.
