To get their fix of big-city culture and cuisine, Bohemians can hop on the Long Island Rail Road--the Empire City is only an hour away by train.
Over 20 percent of Bohemians are employed in the educational, health, and social services fields. The city's largest employers are Data Device Corporation, Dayton T. Brown, Inc., and EDO Corporation. The Long Island MacArthur Airport in the town of Islip employs approximately 900 and connects residents to destinations across the US with 92 flights daily.
