Wall Township, New Jersey is one of several coastal towns in the state's coastal strip called "The Shore." The New Jersey Shore is a popular spring and summer destination for many residents of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New York. Small coastal towns like Wall Township offer boutique hotels, beachfront rentals, and summertime activities to millions of visitors each summer.

The population of Wall Township is 25,261, and the largest city closest to Wall Township is Trenton, with a population of 85,314. Many Wall Township residents call the town "Wall" or "The Wall."
