The largest employer in Jersey City is Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities, and other primary employers include Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. Hundreds of thousands of square feet of office space in Jersey City have been recently leased by businesses like Merrill Lynch, Citigroup and Deutsche Bank.
Jersey City is home to the Colgate Clock, which some say is the largest clock in the world. Its minute hand is 25 feet long and weighs over a ton, and the clock can be read with ease from Battery Park in Lower Manhattan. Liberty State Park is often a recreational destination for many, and it provides stunning views of the Statue of Liberty and the New York skyline.
