Hazelwood, Missouri (population 26,206 in 2000) is located within St. Louis County and is part of the St. Louis metropolitan area. Hazelwood lies between St. Louis, Missouri (13 miles away) and Chicago, Illinois (280 miles). Hazelwood is known for its natural parks, bike routes, wildflowers and wildlife watching.
