The city of Kendall, Florida, located within Miami-Dade County, has an approximate population of 79,190 people. A culturally diverse city like the rest of the county, Kendall's population is approximately half Hispanic. The average resident of Kendall earns $34,378 per year, just under the national average. This number has been increasing at a rate of 8.9% a year, which is 19% higher than the national average growth rate. Kendall is an educated town: 88% have earned at least a high school diploma, while 40% have a bachelor's degree or higher. With Miami less than 15 miles away, there are plenty of job opportunities available. PRC, a communications company, has been within the Miami-Dade County for over ten years, and has been hiring several hundred people since its opening in Kendall last year.
