Suffield, Connecticut, lies on the Connecticut River between Hartford, CT and Springfield, MA. Although a small town, with a population of 13,555 in 2000, its location between two states and near the Bradley International Airport makes it an attractive place for business.

The average personal income of Suffield residents in 2004 was $40,880. This is 24% more than the average American earns, and this rate has been growing across Hartford County at a rate of 6.8% annually since 1969.

According to the 2000 U.S. census, the top industries in Hartford County are:
