Located at the southern tip of the San Francisco Bay, Milpitas, California is known for its high tech industry and diverse population. Often called the "Crossroads of Silicon Valley," the city is located between two major freeways, I-880 and I-680. This city of 65,000 residents boasts an annual per capita income of $98,979. The majority of the well-educated and tech-savvy citizens of Milpitas own their homes. The median home value in Milpitas is $745,000.

Local highlights include the Great Mall of the Bay Area, which is the largest enclosed shopping mall in Northern California, and has at 1.1 million square feet of commercial space. Milpitas also maintains over twenty community parks, a dog park and 18 tennis courts. The City provides an abundance of recreational activities, including aquatics, cultural arts, theater, sports leagues and senior activities.
