Since 1940, Bryan College has been training students for work in rewarding and growing careers. Bryan College was founded by Mildred Bryan in her home to teach students court reporting with a focus on helping individuals gain skills that would improve their lives. As the college expanded and outgrew Mildred Bryan's home, it offered more programs to students at multiple locations as well as online. But Bryan College's commitment to helping students gain marketable skills and build successful careers remains unchanged.
Degree and Certificate Programs at Bryan College
Bryan College offers degree and certificate programs that are recognized by employers. Courses are taught by dedicated instructors with industry experience in the area that they teach. Classes are taught in modern facilities using industry standard tools and techniques.
The program in court reporting is Bryan College's oldest program as well as the oldest court reporting program in the country. After you complete this program, you are prepared to become licensed in your state and begin your career. A court reporting certificate can also prepare you to work in other settings as a real-time captioner, real-time reporter, or convention reporter. The National Court Reporters Association states that court reporters earn an annual average of $64,672. The court reporting program is also available online.
The degree program in personal training is available online or on campus. This program prepares you to work in a variety of careers, including fitness, gym operations and management, corporate health and fitness training, or training for clients with special needs. In addition to receiving your personal training degree, the program at Bryan College prepares you to take various certification exams.
