Blue Cliff College was founded in 1987 as an innovative massage therapy training center. Since then, the college has grown to offer a variety of diploma and degree programs at various campuses. Blue Cliff College is a private institution of learning owned by Quad Partners.

Blue Cliff College offers degree or diploma programs in medical assisting, cosmetology, medical office administration, esthetics, dental assisting, and massage therapy. Not all programs are available at all locations. Practical, career-focused training prepares you to apply for entry-level positions as well as relevant licenses and certifications in a variety of growing professional fields.

Courses are offered during the day and in the evenings. Daytime courses are ideal for students looking to get career training and start a new career quickly. Daytime degree programs can be completed in as few as 6 to18 months, depending on the program. Evening courses are well-suited for students who are juggling a career or family but still wish to continue their education. Evening students can usually complete the same programs in 15 to 27 months.

In addition to lecture and discussion, coursework includes hand-on practice in laboratories or supervised clinical settings where you have a chance to develop your skills using industry-standard equipment. For example, if you are working toward a massage therapy diploma, you may have access to massage tables and chairs, skeletons, massage tools, and audio-visual equipment.  The cosmetology program uses a simulated salon environment that enables you to practice your skills. Each student in the medical assisting program receives a kit that includes a stethoscope, uniform, and other necessary items. If you are a student in the dental assisting program, you complete an externship that places you in an supervised dental office.

Towards this end, Blue Cliff College participates in community service events around its campuses, including athletic programs, health fairs, and fundraising events. Massage facilities on certain campuses also offer services to the public.

Blue Cliff College offers a number of services to support you as you train for your career. The financial aid office can help qualifying students locate and apply for loans and grants. The career services office provides help with resume writing, interviewing, and networking, as well as assisting graduates in their job hunt.

Continuing education classes in massage therapy allows interested individuals to take just one or two classes instead of enrolling in diploma program.
