Question
I have received my certificate diploma in Medical Transcription but I'm having trouble finding a position. How do you write letters of inquiry for a position that does not exist at a hospital or doctor's office and do you offer resume help?
Thanks

Answer
Norma,
Although some organizations don't allow it, if you are willing to go to the hospital or doctor's office and show up dressed for an interview with your resume in hand, you may get an opportunity to talk to some decision-makers. Try to speak to as many people as possible and let them know you are very interested in working for them.
If you can't make it in person for whatever reason, writing a letter to the most senior person in the office will often get your letter routed to the appropriate person.
