Online Video Game Design Degree Programs
The video game industry as a whole is expected to reach record-breaking revenues of more than $22 billion in 2008 according to NPD Group statistics. As the market demand for computer and video games continues to grow, the demand for skilled game designers is likely to increase. The growing market is reflected by the popularity of games such as Warcraft and Grand Theft Auto. On its first day of release, Grand Theft Auto IV sold over 3.6 million copies and generated over $300 million dollars in sales. A degree in game design and development can provide the skills you need to cash in on this rising demand. (cont)
